How about that time we had 3 massive parties in 1 weekend? Oh yeah that was last weekend. Buckle up friends, because it's time for a most epic weekend recap. So epic in fact that I couldn't even post it until Monday night, because I needed Monday to actually work in my real job :)
I started my Friday with a 6 mile run. I've been keeping an 8-10 mile base consistently with weekly long treadmill runs. It's just to darn hot here. I had been quite proud of my typical negative treadmill split and around 9:20 average pace. Need some running humble pie? Run outside. I struggled mentally and physically, but I did finish and I kept telling myself, "I am getting stronger."
Evolution Fitness Orlando. We wanted to thank our clients for their loyalty and faith in Kyle's training with a happy hour event. I don't know if any of you own your own business, but it's hard work. You are never off and your success is up to you. I'm so proud of how hard Kyle works to make Evo a success. He has a passion for fitness, but also for his clients and I think that combination PLUS always being willing to work harder has been a key to his success. I'm so proud of him!
Speaking of Saturday, we had another event Saturday as Kyle and I headed to Hyde Park in Tampa to celebrate our friend Denny's 30th birthday. We started with cocktails at a boutique hotel called The Epicurean and then had dinner at Ciccio's/Water.
What did you do this weekend?
How would you handle that epic cake fail?
Love and baby girls,
Carissa & Kyle
