Last night's dinner with friends at Del Frisco's was amazing. I think it deserves its own post, so it will get one. Next week. My personal clock is still off with the holiday week. Today is Sunday? Confusing.
I spent the day working a baseball event at ESPN's Wide World of Sports. After work and some holiday Disney traffic, I met Kyle at Evolution for my last 2012 workout. I'm sad to say that it wasn't the hardest workout of the year. I have not had a rest day in 4 days and I ran 8 miles yesterday, so I didn't have much in my legs. Here's what we did:
SuperSet #1:
20 Front Squats with the Ultimate Sandbag
15 Reverse Pulldown with 1 sec hold
12 Heavy Shoulder Press
10 push-ups w/extra weight (kyle's foot) on my back
Repeat x 2
SuperSet #2:
8 Leg Exetensions both legs
8 right leg extension
8 right leg extension
12 heavy cable row
12 lateral DB raises
Repeat x2
SuperSet #3:
Cable tricep push-down to failure
15 Hanging leg raises
15 Ball crunches
Repeat x 2
After the workout we headed to Panera for lunch. It was "Orlando cold" today at 50 degrees and I was outside at work all day. I needed soup.
I had the "Take 2" combo with the black bean soup and harvest turkey salad. Panera is never the "best meal ever", but it satisfied.
Tonight I have crock pot chicken marsala on the menu. I found this crock pot box at Target and was intrigued.
The chicken and sauce cooked all day and you add mushrooms and egg noodles the last 20 minutes. It smells great, so I hope it delivers.

Oh, I hope my last workout hasn't happened yet! Since I broke my toe, my last workout was the Saturday BEFORE Christmas. It was good workout, though! A sculpting class with one of my favorite instructors. Happy New Year!
