Anniversary with Sugar Bear

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and finally the mystery cake flavor of the year would be revealed.  Are you on the edge of your seat?
Before Kyle got home I ran 4 repeat 800's as part of my Women's Half Marathon training plan (would you guys like to see my whole training plan?).  My knee/ankle is feeling good right now, but I'm still so darn slow.  I don't know if it's me or trying to train in the heat that's the main culprit.  I have an 8-miler on the agenda tomorrow, so I hope to feel stronger if not faster then.
The run was partly for training and party to burn extra calories for cake.  For dinner I had (alone since Kyle was still at work) a GAT Prolein shake, asparagus, and brussel sprouts.  Yup, I'm weird.  Kyle's dinner was eggs with asparagus.  The things we do for cake.

And the cake flavor was...
Lemon cake with strawberry cream filling.

It was good.  But not GREAT!  The cake was very light and moist and the icing was heavy.  The almond flavor from anniversary 1 is still "taking the cake".  Get it?  Regardless, I devoured 2 pieces.  I love icing.  In a bad way.  I ate so much sugar my face hurt.  Does that ever happen to you?

After cake we watched Honey Boo Boo.  I. am. so. embarrassed.  I walked in the room and told Kyle to turn it off, but then I was hooked.  It's like watching a train wreck.  And during each show there literally almost is a train wreck. This family lives like 2 feet from a railroad track!  It's crazy.
We have 2 more episodes on the DVR for tonight.  Shamed. So shamed.
