All YOU August

Have we mentioned how much we LOVE our readers?  We DO!

We have dedicated the month of August to our readers and have 4 weeks of goals and giveaways in store for our wonderful readers.

We blog, because we love fitness and we believe in a healthy lifestyle.  We're so thankful for our loyal readers. Your comments, questions, tweets, and pins always make us smile.  Thanks for being Fit2Flex too!

We've named the month "All YOU August". Each week there will be a different, specific goal aimed at improving one aspect of your overall life. We will announce the goals and the giveaways on Thursdays (because why not) and they will be open to enter until the following Wednesday.  You're also encouraged to tweet using #FitAugust and even challenge us with your own healthy ideas.

As we mentioned on Monday, living healthy is a journey. Keep moving forward my friends!

In other news, I covered my ears and acted like a crazy woman in Petco today.

Let me explain....I was supporting Team USA in my awesome Olympic shirt.

I had been living in "radio silence" on Tuesday, because I didn't want anything to spoil the results of the Olympic team gymnastics final. This year has been killer for spoilers...#NBC.  I didn't blog today or get on facebook or Twitter or turn on the TV or radio after 1130am.  I'm serious.
I didn't want to go to the pet store, however Minnie is sick and I needed to try and find something she would eat. (Minnie was attacked by our other cat in the middle of the night and is not recovering well from her wounds).

I tried to cover my Olympic shirt, but the cashier saw it and was like, "Oh I love the Olympics".....and then I immediately put my hands over my ears and starting going "lalalalalalal" so I wouldn't hear the rest.  I tried to calmly (with my hands over my ears) tell that lady that I really didn't want to know what happened and I've been looking forward to watching for 4 years and please don't even look at me if you know what happens because I can read your face.  Then I ran out of the store.

Brings a whole new meaning to crazy cat lady.

But IT WAS WORTH IT! Congrats to The US Gymnastics team on their team gold medal! I was so excited watching!

Also a huge congrats to Michael Phelps on becoming officially the greatest Olympic Champion EVER! Well deserved kid!
