Today's I'm talking vegetarian eats on What I Ate Wednesday!

I guess I'm a picky eater. I'll eat almost any fruit or vegetable, but I am rather picky when it comes to my meats. I like chicken breast and fish. And I don't like them fried. When I was dining out in Australia I found myself picking the vegetarian option quite often.
I am totally on board with more vegetarian eating and I try to implement it here with Kyle too. We struggle. But that's another post.
Here's a look of some of my fave Aussie vegetarian eats.
There's an upscale, trendy part of Syndey called Surry Hills where I dined at an all vegetarian cafe called Ulli's.
I was with a co-worker and his daughter so we shared three dishes. Falafel, goat cheese polenta sticks, and salt & pepper tofu.
I really didn't think I would like the tofu. OH ME GEEEEE I loved it! It was served with a thai peanut slaw. The outside was crunchy and the inside creamy. I would love to know where I can get tofu like that in Orlando.
Pumpkin is eaten as a vegetable in Australia and I was determined to eat as much as possible. After several days of Thai pumpkin soup, I had this overflowing beet, feta, and pumpkin salad.
I have a permanent remembrance of this salad on a white shirt of mine. Note to self - beets are messy.
I also spent some time with an old standby - quinoa.Oh and then I had this salted caramel cupcake. Totally vegetarian.
