What foods should I buy organic?

It can be a hard decision know what and if to buy organic.

I will admit that I don't buy everything organic. I know that I should, but it's expensive and sometimes the budget isn't there.  Add to that the conflicting reports about what difference organic makes and it can be another nutritional conundrum.

What do you buy organic?
This chart has helped me with my organic purchasing choices.  If I can't afford it all organic, then I definitely go for the "dirty dozen". Buying organic apples alone costs me $3 each week, but if it makes my family healthier then it's worth it.

I am by no means an organic expert, but if you are I would love to hear your scientific insight and share that with my readers.

Last night Kyle & I watched the finals of the US Olympic gymnastics trials.  I cried, I cheered, I had goosebumps.  Did you watch?

I did gymnastics for 10+ years and trained about 40 hours a week.  In the summer we went 830-530 for 4-5 days a week. I loved it.  I was a decent gymnast. Not elite caliber, but it was seriously my childhood.  It breaks my heart to see some of these girls compete at the elite level and get so close to making an Olympic team and not make it.  But it's amazing for those who do.

Please enjoy the most awkward photo to share my gymnastics prowess.  Look at those pants!!! You can tell even by this picture that I was TOO TALL to be a gymnast!
In 1996 my mom took me to Atlanta to watch the 1996 games.  I was able to see the women's individual all-around and it's something I will never forget.  That was also the year of the "Magnificent Seven".

Gabby Douglas is from my hometown and the gymnastics club that she first started out was my club too.
There was no air conditioning.  Talk about a sweat fest. Another random fact - I always wore shorts over my leotard.  Always.  I would take them off to compete and put them right back on.  Weirdo.

Kyle & I have a big announcement coming this week.  Stay tuned friends.

Are you watching the Olympic Trials? Who is your favorite athlete?

Love and London,
Carissa & Kyle
