Things that are great about Sydney:
- Great sightseeing
- Mild weather
- Tasty seafood
What’s bad? My Mac Book won’t charge. I have about 2 hours of battery left and a week here. I’m stressed. I’m walking to the Apple store today and I pray they help me.
I had a packed day of sightseeing in Sydney on Friday that I plan to share with you on Monday. Saturday I had my first TV appearance in Sydney, my first workout in my Sydney hotel, and my first trip to Paddy’s Market in Chinatown.
I sent Kyle pics of the gym here and he sent me a full body workout to tackle.
I call it the “Thunder Down Under”.

I added 10 minutes on the elliptical before and after the workout. I needed to burn off those delicious chocolate Tim Tams. Soooo good!
In other random news my hotel is in Chinatown….I don’t like Asian food. I just don’t. If you like it...totally cool...we just all have different tastes. I have to wander quite far from my hotel to find other food options. After my workout today I ate chicken tangine in the Albion Place Hotel. It was a decent dish. It needed salt, but I enjoyed the warming feeling of the hot dish and the tomatoes. I love some roasted tomatoes.
My touristy destination for the day was Paddy’s Market in Chinatown. It’s basically a large flea market and it was a little overwhelming. I didn’t take pics inside, because I didn’t want to draw attention to myself! Haha! I picked up some souvenirs for much cheaper than the main stores. Did I need kangaroo flip-flops? You betcha!

I made dinner in my room and it was a typical chicken, spinach, avocado, asparagus, and strawberry salad. I also had a rice cake with laughing cow cheese.
Saturday I had my first TV appearance here in Sydney and loved talking about weight loss, ellipticals, and Pro-Form fitness.
Check back Monday for my Sydney travel update and keep your fingers crossed that my MAC charger issues are fixed.
What type of food do you NOT like?
Love and fortune cookies,
Carissa & Kyle
