No. That's a lie. I'm terrified of sharks and generally all bodies of water that aren't surrounded by a luxury resort. But I did visit the world famous Bondi Beach.
The beginning of my trip was spent on Australia's Gold Coast at the Rebel Conference. I loved talking fitness and sharing my passion for living a healthy, fit lifestyle.
I rocked my BN Shape tank down under!
Thursday afternoon I drove to Brisbane and flew from there to Sydney. I had requested an aisle seat, but ended up with a window. I sweetly asked to lady next to me if she minded switching...and it was a negative. Meah~
I started reading "Sarah's Key" in flight and was shocked when a meat pie was delivered to me. A meat pie? I tried a bite and then finished my apple.
I leaned over my friendly neighbor and snapped a few photos landing in Sydney.
Once in Sydney I visited the Icon Fitness Australian offices for a little research.
There was also the previously mentioned stop at Bondi Beach.
No shark sightings for me, but I loved the quaint beach atmosphere. The beach is less then 1 mile long and apparently one day in summer there were 400,000 people there. Wow! Shark picnic!
Also apparently the wealthy, celebrities of Sydney live near this area. Hugh Jackman sighting anyone? Just kidding!!!
Dinner was enjoyed at Nick's seafood in Darling Harbor. What a beautiful view!
For dinner I ordered the grilled John Dory, which is a mild white fish. The real treat was dessert. It doesn't matter what continent I'm on I love me some chocolate! Mmmmmm!
Friday is a day of sightseeing in Sydney before my first TV appearance on Saturday.
