WIAW - Mid week Mayhem

It's the middle of the day of the day that is the middle of the week. Wednesday!

Where does time go?  I can't believe how this week has flown by. I'm usually a "do-ahead" blogger so I have my posts ready to go in the morning, but these last few days have thrown me off.  My list of "have to-do's" has far outgrown my list of "want to-do's". Laundry, floor cleaning, dinner making, studying, and working out have all been crossed off so I can blog.  Freely.
Study Mom.
Last night I worked at Disney, more specifically ESPN's Wide World of Sports hosting the opening ceremony for AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships.  Insane.  That's how I would describe this event.  Insane. In a good way.  There are 1700+ teams in the tournament and only 20 of them will take home national championships.  That's crazy right?

We announced a good 700 teams at our opening ceremony last night complete with Mickey Mouse, fireworks, and a musical performance.  I love my job.  It was a crazy night, but so cool to see the excitement of all the girls.
My view from stage. No I don't mind talking in front of a crowd. :)
Today has been all about studying, cleaning, and getting ready to leave for Colorado. Tomorrow I'm off to the Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference (thank you to chocolate milk for the scholarship).  It's my first fitness centered conference and I'm so excited to meet everyone, see the vendors, have fun, and workout.  Total fitness nerd stuff!

I was also joking on Twitter saying that I was going to pack all pink workout stuff, but I think that's actually going to happen.  Not pants. I don't have pink yoga pants. Do you? If so I want them...mainly tops, jackets, and headbands.  You know..all the important pink stuff.

If you've been to a bloggers conference before what did you think?  What advice do you have for a newbie?

Also since it's Wednesday, I have to shout out What I Ate Wednesday with Peas & Crayons.

It's still "sensible snacking month" so I picked up two of my favorite snacks today from Whole Foods.
Kombucha always makes me feel refreshed and healthy when I drink it. I wish I could find it at our standard grocery stores, because a Whole Foods trip always ends up costing me about $40.
Someone had also kindly left two $1 off coupons for Think Thin bars so I picked up two of those for airplane/conference foods. I love a good coupon.

If you're looking for a super cute WIAW post check out Madeline's post showing her baby Emmie's Eats.

Now I'm off to study for my Quantity Food Purchasing MidTerm.  Here's a quick question for ya:
What cut of meat is the diaphragm of a cow?
             Answer tomorrow.

Have you ever been to a blogging or fitness conference? Tips? Thoughts?

Love and madness,
Carissa & Kyle
