Hello Colorado! The (insert state nickname here) state.
After a three hour and twenty minute flight I finally touched down. As some of you know I have 2 discs out in my neck and they weren’t playing nice on the flight. I felt every minute. I kept sneaking off to the bathroom to stretch.
That brings me to an important question: Aisle or Window?
I used to be Team Window. I liked the window to lean on and sleep and I felt that I had a very needed extra 1/16 inch of space. Now, however, I think I like the aisle better. I can move about as needed and for someone who tries to chug water on board that is needed. No awkward “tap the person sleeping next to you and ask to go to the bathroom crawl over” here. Yup, definitely aisle.
Southwest supplied me some tasty processed treats for my in-flight enjoyment and I also had a chicken and bean burrito from home. No it’s not rude to make the whole plane smell like taco bell.
After the flight and about a 20 minute ride to the hotel I met up with Alec and some other amazing bloggers.
I'm a big fan of our room. Spacious and clean. I can work with that.
Alec? That's my awesome FHBC roomie and fellow FitFluential blogger. We hung in the room for a while and then headed down to the casual meet 'n greet pizza party.

I dined on a piece of vegan pizza and happy hour Pinot Noir. This is vacation right?
I enjoyed the vegan, non-cheese pizza, but I didn't care so much for the cheese piece. I tried to pawn it off on PowerCakes Mom aka MammaCakes, but she wasn't buying.
I eventually settled on a fruit and chicken Panera salad and some QT in the room. I'm looking forward to the conference getting started for real tomorrow!
Have you ever had vegan pizza? What's your fave pizza?
Love and Altitude,
Carissa & Kyle
