If you follow me on Pinterest, you may have noticed that I created a "Fitness BucketList" board this week. I hope to add to it as I allow myself to dream about all the (fitness) places I want to go.
It's also Friday, (are ya jazzed?) so I thought I would share my Top 5 on my Fitness Bucketlist. You have NO IDEA how hard it was to pick just five! My brain would get consumed with one thing like "beautiful races I want to do" and then I'd forget to think about the ways I want to challenge my body to be stronger. Five...meah....who can choose just five!
Here's my Friday Five-ish Fitness Bucketlist:
1. Run Tough Mudder
Tough Mudder is taking top billing, because it a longer event that Kyle will run with me. It combines pushing myself physically with married bliss, mud, and barbed wire. How can that not be a winning combination?
There's a Tough Mudder race in Tampa this December.....just sayin' Call me TM!
2. Run an Overnight Relay
After reading Anne, Tina, and Monica's posts about the Reach the Beach relay, I am eager to do one of my own. It's such a unique idea and I kinda like sleepovers, road trips, running, and medals. My relay needs to have a medal. I think it would be great to do a relay with a group of fellow bloggers or some of Kyle and I's personal training clients or an entire relay of running #rd2be's! Huh? Any takers?
If you are not a runner, I'm sure this just furthered your conviction that runners are insane. Fact.
3. Hike More
This might sound like a random one, but I want to find ways to put more "Fun Fitness" into our lives. Kyle & I went hiking last summer in Georgia and I loved it.
| Hiking lunges. |
I'd like to find some places near us to "hike", walk, and just be together doing fitness stuff. Because that's what we love!
| Hi honey. |
I always watch fitness competitions with envy. Since I was a gymnast growing up, I apparently have some currently unmet need to dance and flip on stage. A fitness competition combines that with the elegance and strength of a figure show. Kyle has already competed in 2 natural bodybuilding shows, so he knows the drill.
5. Inspire others to commit to healthy living
Since we're dreaming here, let's dream. I am passionate about healthy living. I believe that eating clean and regular physical activity can literally change your life. It's not a fad. It's not a marketing scheme. It is the belief at the core of my soul.
I went to school to become an RD to put more validity behind my passion. So I want to inspire on a BIG level. I hope to inspire some of you in my blog and I would love someday to be able to speak out about healthy habits on a bigger level. Like Jillian/Bob big.
