Do you see a trend?
I am really falling in love with that last one. The FitDesk.
I love blogging, tweeting, and being online, but being sedentary doesn't make me feel great.
The solution?
Bike and type.
It seems so simple right? Actually you can bike and type, read, tweet, blog, watch TV, eat cereal...you can do it all while burning fat and not time! I'm jazzed. I heart you FitDesk.

There are legions of studies emerging that show the damage of not just an overall sedentary lifestyle, but of sitting. When you sit, the muscles of your legs are essentially "turned off". Sit for 8 hours at work, 1 hour travel time in the car, and 3 hours in front of the TV at night. You get the picture.
Australian researchers have even found a link between sitting time and shortened lives. Holy scare tactic Batman!
I selfishly love my FitDesk, because it makes me feel good to sweat and catch up on my blog reading. I can imagine, however the impact a tool like this could have on people's overall health. More move -> then you weight less -> then you decrease your risk for chronic diseases -> then your quality of life improves and you're happier...and on and on and on.
See .....I told you I was a big fan!
Here are some more things you might want to know about the FitDesk:
- It's sturdy. MacBook sets easily on it and there's a strap too.
- It's small and folds up even tinier.
- It's comfortable. I usually aim to ride 30-45 minutes per "session"
- It's adjustable. The seat and resistance levels change.
- It's watching you. Okay, just kidding, but it does track time, speed, distance, and calories.
It should also be noted that it's easy to assemble. Kyle and I are horrendous at putting anything together and this only took us 20 minutes. Cross my heart.
Are you psyched about the FitDesk?
I hope you answered yes, because the super generous & fit loving folks at FitDesk are giving one away to a lucky Fit2Flex reader.
