1. I ran 3 miles.
2. I encountered not 1 BUT 2 snakes.
I didn't have a workout on the agenda today. I lifted Friday & Sunday and we did a plyo park workout on Saturday. I thought about running, but it was storming on and off outside and I granted myself a 50 minute break to watch Grey's Anatomy. For those who still watch, I was VERY relieved to see who failed their board. I watched the whole darn episode just to see that.
I went outside to get some steps for my #MoveitMay challenge and was shocked by how cool the temperatures were. It was pleasant. If you know Orlando, then you know "pleasant" isn't a word that is typically used to describe the weather here from May to September.
I turned around, went inside, and laced up my shoes. I had no running plan. I scheduled 3 miles mentally for sometime this week, but I was happy just to move.
Then something happened. I found my strong. I was feeling powerful and easily maintaining a 8:40 pace. It felt great! Eminem, Nate Dogg, and I were jammin!
At mile 1.5 I decided to go ahead and finish the 3 miles and take advantage of the 74 degree weather.
I finished the 3 miles in 26:02 which is a great pace for me! My splits were 8:37, 8:49, and 8:34. A very welcome, very happy, very successful run!

OMGIDONOTLIKESNAKESTHEYAREGROSSANDIWISHIWOULDNEVERSEETHEMAGAIN!!!
Did you catch that last part?
I HATE SNAKES! I hate one snake! My cats were freaking out about something and I went to investigate. I proceeded to watch said snake eat a lizard whole. He began to slither away and another snake was right behind "him".
WHAT'S WORSE THEN ONE SNAKE? TWO SNAKES!!
It was scary. Bleh.
I also whipped up a healthy new take on a favorite "on-the-go" breakfast. Any ideas?
What animal gives you the creepers?
Love and snakes on a plane,
