Showered and dressed we headed out for a wonderful mid-week, surprise date! We went to BoneFish and once again enjoyed a good atmosphere, fine wine, and flavorful food.

My dinner was "Lilly's salmon", which was salmon with spinach, goat cheese, artichoke, and a lemon basil sauce. I had them put the sauce on the side to save some calories. I really enjoyed the flavors and my salmon was cooked perfectly.
I may
Since it's Friday I thought I would throw a little 5 Things Friday in the mix too.
Also THANK YOU to all of you who tried and pinned yesterday's at home workout. The response was amazing and I'm over the moon.
Here are 5 things I'm loving this week:
1. Friday Funnies
Raise your hand if you played Oregon Trail as a child. My hand is raised. I LOVED that game!
My mom must fondly remember my passion for crossing to the west and sent me this cartoon this week. Thanks Mamma!
2. Giving Thanks
Lindsay at The Lean Green Bean had a FANTASTIC post this week about saying thanks.
I am very thankful for all of my readers as well. I appreciate and enjoy every comment, tweet, and message you guys send us. Let's all try to be more thankful and appreciate all the love around us.
3. Xtreme Wellness Tortillas
Since I am in class an hour earlier and for an hour longer this month my meals are all kinds of confused. If I ate breakfast when I left the house at 6:50 then I would need a snack by 8:30. It's a vicious cycle. My plan this week has been to eat breakfast on the road. I've been having an xtreme wellness low-carb tortilla with peanut butter and an occasional banana.
4. Frozen Grapes
When you're not downing a giant brownies we have found that frozen grapes are a great way to stop your late night sweet tooth. You can only eat them slowly and they are very low in calories.
5. Moving May
I'm not the only one who thought "Move It May" was a great idea.
Another blogger I love, Janeetha, at Meals & Moves has a May challenge going on. She wants you to "get moving" AND she's giving away prizes each week. Head over to her blog to find out more. You can also tweet #MoveitMay to get on board.

And finally, I wanted to congratulate our BENGAY Zero Degrees winners. I added all the Facebook, Twitter, and blog entries and used the random number generator.
Congrats to:
- Collette
Thank you to all of you who entered!
Love and meager rations,
Carissa & Kyle
