I landed in Detroit on Wednesday evening.
We were staying to Greektown and since I have a fond affection for Greek food I decided to give the local flavor a try. When in
I stopped at a place called The Old & New Parthenon and ordered "Jimmy's Chicken Salad". What drew me in was the addition of dill and beets to a traditional Greek salad. I really enjoyed it and the flavor of the feta. Betta than my usual feta. Much betta. OPA!
Thursday was a day full of year-end wrap up meetings. I made oatmeal in my coffee pot for breakfast and had chicken scallopini, salad, and "shiny" green beans from our lunch buffet. When green beans are shiny it means there's something buttery going on. Green beans all by themselves have a great taste....why must they be masked? Hmmmm...
Okay, green bean rant over. I forgot that I was a blogger until halfway through my meal. Please enjoy a photo of half of my lunch.

I was busy chatting and didn't take pics of all of my food. But here's a glimpse of our evening.
Friday was an exhausting day of flying. I came home and enjoyed a very delicious treat.
Can you guess what it is?
CHIPOTLE BABY!
Carnitas salad with lots of salsa. I could have another one right now they're so good.
We have no plans other than relaxing for the rest of the night and finally watching the season finale of "Revenge". Did you watch?
What TV show are you going to miss most over the summer?
Love and motor city,
Carissa & Kyle
