Fit2Flex 5 Questions:
1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging as I began my running journey. I had read other running blogs and felt it would be a good way to stay accountable as I began increasing my mileage toward my first 10K. Now I’ve run 2 half marathons (with many more on the schedule) and have signed up for my first full marathon!
2. What is your most popular blog post?
My Princess Half Marathon recap! (It’s one of my favorites too!) http://www. runningtowardtheprize.com/ 2012/03/05/2012-princess-half- marathon/
3. What post are you most proud of?
My first half marathon. I ran it in honor of my grandfather that had passed away in May. http://www. runningtowardtheprize.com/ 2011/10/17/the-day-i-ran-a- half-marathon/
4. What is your favorite healthy treat?
Fruit! I could eat a huge bowl of cut up fruit every day. And never get sick of eating it!
5. What is a typical Saturday like for you?
On the Saturdays I don’t have to work – I usually get up and ready for my long run, followed by a nice long, hot shower. Then B Lee and I will be pretty lazy the rest of the day – watching movies!
