Happy Monday friends!
As you know, I like Mondays for the ability to re-focus on goals and hone in on healthy eating. Kyle & I had an amazing weekend and I will share all the fun in my next post.
I have a mid-term this week in my Nutrition Controversies class, so my main focus will be there.
I wanted to share a full body workout I did last week to get your muscles moving this Monday. We've been doing a lot of work with "super slow" movements and the eccentric (negative) portion of the exercise.
I have this thought about working out that I want to share with you too. How do you feel after a workout?
If there is no point where you feel like you have been pushed to your limit...then you probably didn't work out hard enough. Blunt but true. Our bodies adapt to the same routine and the same reps.
This month I challenge you to: push yourself. Don't be afraid to struggle during a set, use a heavier weight, and grunt a little. Push your body and it will reward you back.
