It's a pretty simple concept. Each week we will feature a fabulous, female blogger that we think you should check out! (okay maybe boys can play too, but I liked the alliteration)
We'll ask the same 5 questions so you can get a better idea of who they are, why they blog, and what they do on Saturdays!
First up - US! We can think of this as the practice round.
Hello! We're Carissa & Kyle and we blog at Fit2Flex. We're married, certified personal trainers who love healthy eating, football, and our 2 cats!

Fit2Flex 5 Questions:
1. Why did you start blogging?
We started blogging to be transparent about the healthy lifestyle that we live. Clients would always ask Kyle, "What does your wife feed you?" "Do you eat all chicken and brown rice?" "Do you ever eat bad?" The easiest way to help people sometimes is to show them. We don't think that living healthy is restrictive or hard. It's the sum of a lot of little changes that make a big difference.
We are genuinely passionate about fitness and we want to share that with others. That's what the blog is all about and we're so grateful that people read it.
2. What is your most popular blog post?
Our most popular post is about how to "Thin your Thighs". One of the exercises was featured on Julie's rockstar blog, Peanut Butter Fingers last summer and it has remained popular ever since!
3. What post are you most proud of?
I'm proud of all of our workout posts. We put a lot of time into crafting them and making sure to deliver intelligent training advice.
That being said, I'm most proud of our post on "How to Lose Weight". I DO NOT like when people give bad weight loss advice, like drastically cutting calories. In this post I tried to explain how to have a healthy weight loss mindset.
4. What is your favorite healthy treat?
This is actually a very hard question. Currently I (Carissa) am dominating healthy popcorn, but in terms of volume eaten, I think I eat a peanut butter rice cake 5 days a week. As for Kyle, he loves protein pudding. Protein powder + pudding = happy Kyle.
5. What is a typical Saturday like for you?
Kyle works every Saturday morning, so he is out the door about 7am. I (Carissa) will go on a run unless I'm announcing a race. Saturday afternoons Kyle enjoys a nap and then we have some kind of fun dinner either out or with friends at home. No big party animals here!
