But I LOVE what Monday brings. Monday is a clean slate and sharpened mental focus. I start Monday and I have a week's worth of workouts in front of me. I'm ready to eat clean, I'm ready to live well, and I'm kinda pumped about it!
Monday is the day that thousands of people claim they will start their diet. Monday is typically the day that I eat the best. Monday is the day I get the most done.
Mondays are for doing and dreaming. Mondays are empowering.
Each Monday I plan out our meals for the week and schedule my workouts. Giving myself a clear plan helps me stay focused. I also take a minute to think about what I want to accomplish that week.
This week my goal is to: only put into my body those things that are best for it.
Meaning - eat only clean, unprocessed foods...those with the most nutritional benefits.
I have been eating "okay" lately, but there have been a lot of treats. I'm ready to stop that. And because it's Monday I know I can.

This week is also my last week off school. Gosh, it was wonderful! I'm planning on baking a bit including Julie's baked coconut oatmeal and Stuft Mama's protein cookie.
