Running on the sun, however, was made much better by my Britney Spears Pandora station. Yes ma'am!
Pandora was bringing me some amazing jams today. I set out to run 3 miles, because we are doing the Champions Mud Bash next Saturday, which is a 3 mile course. However my hip was feeling bad so I cut the run to two miles. There's no need to injure myself. Workout smart kids!
It's 95, I have a treadmill at home, and I choose to run outside. Why?
Because I'm one of those people who treadmills just don't work for. I mean - they functionally work- but mentally I can't do it. After 5 minutes on the treadmill I am ready to check out. And I can. Just a push of a button and I'm done. If I'm outside and I'm 2 miles away from home it's a different story. I have to push back home (hitchhiking home is NOT an option). I can also detach from the world and enjoy the relaxing benefits of running much better outside. It's therapy. It's just hot therapy in Florida right now.
Today is my "cheat day" from our super, clean eating diet, so I got to have CEREAL! And yes, I was that excited. Top favorite foods for me: cereal, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts. Really!
I had an over-flowing cereal bowl with Kashi Go Lean, Fiber 1 Honey Clusters, almond milk, cinnamon, and blueberries. Did you know adding cinnamon to your cereal can help boost your metabolic rate? Since it's Saturday, I also go to enjoy my morning coffee without the usual weekday rush. That's nice! :)

Kyle is heading to Del Frisco's tonight for steak and an early Father's Day dinner with his Papa and his USF friends and their Dads. Lucky guy!
