I have always liked getting the mail.
I think it's hope that something totally awesome and life-changing could be in that tiny box! Or a nasty bill or jury duty...but that's a risk I excitedly take everyday (minus Sundays and federal holidays).
Today was a GOOOOOOOOD mail day!
Aside from some moola we got, a sweet picture of our beautiful Grandmother, and an invite to Kyle's cousin, Shawn's engagement party. Welcome to the family Taina! Plus, I received not 1, but 2 packages!
First: My Official Coupon Pro Binder! Now I can be an OCD couponer to the max! My old accordion coupon file just wasn't cutting it. I wanted to be more organized and efficient. This has color-coded sections and will hold my coupons flat so I can easily see my stash. Everybody say ooohhhhhhhhh. It's also pink! Score! I bought the binder from Coupon Organizer Pro.
I also am working on getting a couponing excel spreadsheet so I can calculate my savings better. I hope to be able to share this with you.
The girls were talking about couponing in my chemistry class today and we are all on the coupon bandwagon. Apparently saving money is "in"!
Right now all I want to do is organize my coupons...but I have ANOTHER organic chemistry exam tomorrow, so my studying takes priority.
Second: my Tom's are here!
Some people may say they are ugly, but I am digging them! And they are so so so so comfortable. Like for real. :) I got the white ones, which I know will get dirty easily, but I can wear them to school with my scrubs.
Tom's is a wonderfully generous company. With every pair of their shoes sold they donate one pair to a child in need. One for one. They have some very cute styles and wedges too. I don't think these will be the last Tom's to grace my front porch! I got mine via Amazon and they were around $50 with shipping. On the official Tom's site they are offering free shipping until the 18th with any $85 purchase.
This has been a big week of fun mail for me!
