|Greens & Grille|
We do! And its called Greens & Grille. There are 2 I know of here in Orlando. One by Millenia and one at UCF.
G&G specializes in fresh, organic produce with lean protein options and homemade in house dressings. Basically healthy heaven! Mmmmm!
We always make a salad. You choose your protein from chicken, turkey, shrimp, steak, or portabello and then you get to pick 5 toppings for your salad. Picking the toppings is always a tough task for me...seriously. They have so many delicious, nutrtious choices; edamame, tomato, beets, cucumber, black beans, goat cheese, feta, olives....how can I choose! Sometimes I combine some off the wall flavors....but today I hit the mark! I went Greek...OPA! And the result was salty Kalamata kraziness!
I had a spring mix chicken salad with tomato, feta, grilled onions, sunflower seeds (for texture), and olives with a kalamata vinegar-based dressing.
Kyle had his "usual". If it ain't broke don't fix it! He gets the steakhouse which is spring mix, steak, chopped eggs, candied almonds, grilled onions, craisins, and blue cheese with a vinagarette that at this time is unknown to him!
We also always get and devour hummus and flatbread. Their hummus is bright and lemony.
Lunch was a success!

Since we woke up so late and didn't have time to go to the store so we had what I like to call a "hodgepodge" dinner.
Kyle went with leftover chicken parm and a greek salad inspired by my lunch. I had okra and Morning star buffalo chck'n tenders. They are veggie tenders and they got the Kyle seal of approval! I love their crunch and spice.
To end our wild and crazy Friday night we are watching "Meet the Fockers". Just 2 wild and crazy kids!
Love and fockers,
Carissa & Kyle
